Hi guys, I'm sure this is been posted countlees times before but I am new to this forum and need some help. Just picked up my 2002 Volvo S80 T6 2.8 twin turbo. Noticed gas leaking from under the gas tank and also get a strong odor of gas in the car, just wanted to see whether or not it was the fuel pump or something more serious. I've heard about the recalls and mine is unfortunately not covered under any. I just wanted to see what you guys thought before I went and bought a Bosch fuel pump and did the install myself. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

Most likely the fuel pump. Why not just check it before ordering just to be sure?

 

Just popped the back seats off, pool of gasoline sitting on top of the fuel pump hahaha easy diagnosis. Shoulda started there I guess. 👍
