I have a 2004 S80 2.5T FWD. The vehicle started to malfunction when the season started to change to summer. The vehicle will drive fine for about 20-30 minutes. Suddenly, the vehicle will enter "limp mode." The dashboard lights will not work with the exception of the Check Engine and the ABS. None of the gauges will work. The passenger lights will not turn off. The head lights will not turn off. The A/C shuts off. The power doors and windows will not work. To turn the lights off I have to disconnect the battery. I used a OBDII tool to look at any error codes. The vehicle showed a U0073 (ECM-E003) and a P0863 (ECM-530B).

I diagnosed to the problem to be the CEM. Since the dealer wants over $1500 for a new CEM and software, I removed the CEM and did a repair and replace with XeModex. I have received the repaired CEM from then and installed it in the 2004 S80. The vehicle will crank but will not start. Any ideas?
