Looking to buy a slightly used 2004 S80 T6. Car has low miles and appears to be in great shape. All maintenance was performed at the dealer and was performed on time. CarFax checks out for what it's worth.

Any known issues with the 2004 S80 T6 that I should check for while test driving the vehicle?

 

Overall the 04 is a good car. Some have had some major problems other like myself have always had very small problems. Just do your research and drive the car as much as you can.

Well, the S80 we were looking at sold.

I did find a similar one but not near the options. One thing it does not have that my wife and I would like to have is heated seats. Is this something that is easily added? I had a 1999 Land Rover Discovery II that did not have heated seats but apparently Land Rover put the heating elements in all of the Discovery II along with the wiring to the switch area. Does anyone know if Volvo did the same? Could I luck out and only have to buy the switch for the dash? Doubtful, but you never know.
