I installed a kenwood dmx40s head unit that I got off of Crutchfield with a wire ready harness to my car and right after that it started to sound muffled and the rear door speakers weren’t working would anyone possibly know

 

Yes, I was wondering if the HU-601 has a DSP, and I think it must, since the difference from not being tuned is huge. What kind of crossovers do I need to set up if I only have the original sound system? I don't have a separate amplifier either. Isn't a crossover only necessary for a subwoofer and if the tweeters are wired separately?
