Default 2008 s80 3.2 L6 engine shop documentation

Hi,
We got a cheapo s80 out at an auction for my teenager and has a blown head gasket.
I have changed head gaskets couple of times on simpler engines.
Is there any authoritative source for this engine? I am struggling to find a manual with the torque values, etc.
Can anybody point me to a place where they sell the "Haynes" equivalent for this car? (2008 s80 3.2 non turbo)
Thank you,
Andres

most stuff is online these days (including Chiltons!) just google "2008 S80 shop manual" and you'll get a bunch of adverts. You may also want to check out VIDA DICE CDs as well

There is no Chilton’s or Haynes for P3 Volvos. Anything published is about generic maintenance and not specific enough for repair of our cars. Anyone doing actual maintenance of our cars knows this and will not tell you to search online advertising.

VIDA is the proprietary Volvo software for diagnostics and step-by-step maintenance instructions for P3 models up to model year 2015. It was intended for use with Windows 7 or 8 and uses Volvo’s electronic DICE interface that plugs into the OBD II port. It normally requires a subscription direct from Volvo, so the cost is typically prohibitive for routine DYI. Having said that, you can find clone versions of VIDA/DICE on Amazon, eBay or AliExpress. You may still need a subscription for advanced programming, but basic maintenance and repairs are covered in detail with schematics and illustrations. I suggest you head over to Swedespeed to find a lot more knowledge and information from fellow S80 and P3 chassis owners. As a general rule of thumb for your P3 Volvo, don’t accept technical advice for your car from anyone who either does not own a P3 Volvo or does make a living fixing them. Commenting on general car advice is one thing, but pretending to know model-specific information is irresponsible.

What's the mileage of the vehicle you want to replace the head gasket on? I ask because in certain situations a head gasket job may require a full rebuild of the engine head which for these Volvos is very expensive.
