I drove a 2012 S80 today, and the center stack rubbed against my right knee/leg when the seating was comfortable. I am also considering a 2011 S80 (some distance away), and the stack looks as though it would be positioned the same relative to a driver's right leg. Is that correct, or is the stack thinner and so be less likely to rub against my right leg?

Looking at pictures of the actual car (2011) and the Volvo site (2012) makes it look as though they are positioned just about the same.

 

The cars are basically the same, I doubt there is much difference in the positioning of the stack, if any at all.
