Question 99 s80 T6 timing belt help

For all of the infomation I got, this car need a special tool to lock up the VVT cam to line up the T-belt. However, I have lock both of the cam gears and mark it to the top T-belt cover @ 12 o'clock positions. The lower crank gear cod is point to 3 o'clock, any ideas? Maybe it got the wrong kind of crank gear cod on it? Anyways, I took out the t-belt and replace exacly the way I took it out without moving anything put it all back together it fine until engine is warm up then it started to miss a little. The other Volvo guy tell me that I got the t-belt on all wrong now it need a new head?? He said that he try to relining it up to the right mark then the piston will touch the valve. So would anybody can determent that who false it is? Because of me locking the cams and cranks before remove the belt? or this guy is trying to pulling my legs??? Thanks, regard.

If it is only off a little and runs crappy when warm it cannot be off that much.
See if the cams line up right if they do then remove the belt and adjust the crank.

But spin the motor by hand before starting the car.

if you line the crank up properly it should be at about the 11 oclock position. also when u line up everthring you MUST turn it 1/4 turn clockwise past the crank timing mark and then back counter clockwise to properly time the vvt otherwise youll throw timing codes
