I had the transmission urgent service message come on and the central triangle orange light and the check engine message on the right. When I had it checked the technican added a quart of fluid. Afterwards the orange light went off, but the other two messages stayed. Does this mean that I solved the problem by having fluid added? Should the messages have reset themselves if the problem has been solved?

 

If he added fluid, you could have a leak. I would keep an eye on the level and see if it drops at all. As for the codes, clear them out and see what ones come back.
