Ok, started with an intermitent ABS service light required. STC light has come on and off one time. When I press the brake pedal the brake light out light goes on. I checked with wife and she stepped on the brake and the only brake light that went on was the one on the rear window. Nothing in the actual lights area. It is a 99S80 non turbo. I had my other s80 into the dealer for oil change and asked him the price for the ABS and they wanted 1400. Is there anyway to diagnose through codes to make sure or is it just a symptom and diagnose situation.

Tech, does the ABS module come up in an error code or is it just something diagnised based upon the symptoms?

 

It sets codes that cannot be cleared. Usually L/F wheel sensor or R/R sensor.
