Default ABS MODULE 99 S80 T6

Hey, I think I need to get my ABS module repaired. 99 S80 T6
I've been getting: Brake Failure Stop Safely ASAP; ABS; Brake; Yellow Triangle; car skidding; speedmeter & odometer stop working; trip"-". And sometimes my car would not start at all. And since last night and this morning the car would not start. Plus I get this wierd sound coming from the transmission when I try to start the car.
Could this still be the ABS module?
Two days ago I drove about 5 miles with the hand brake on. Can this have done some type of damage?

Welcome to the forum E99S80T6.

Driving with the emergency brake on should not have caused all this. Maybe the heat from it, could cause a brake light.
Does the car turn over when you try to start it or does nothing happen at all?
Regardless,Go have the codes pulled (if you can)to see what is causing all this.

it could be a bad alternator. on newer vehicles with a number of modules that control various things, when the alt doesnt charge the battery all these other modules start failing first, then when the batt voltage gets lower the car wont start. what kind of noise is it making? thats where i would start, a simple battery voltage test, then jump the car and check charging voltage after you remove the power supply or jump box.

I forgot to mention the TRANSMISSION SERVICE REQ and CHECK ENGINE messages...So I took out the ABS Module and took it over to Victor Rocha in Rowland Heights, CA. He tested the MODULE and it turned out to be good. So then I got home took off the battery took it to Autozone. Battery was low, got charged and then test again turned out to be good. Put it back the car. Nothing. Still would not turn on. So now I'm thinking base on some research on-line. Can it be the ignition switch? I don't think it would the alternator or starter? What's a PNP switch?

I doubt ignition switch. PNP is on the transmission. Check all power wires under the hood starter, alt, fuse box.

Yeah I know thanks though. I'm just going to give in and have USAA pay for my tow. Sending my S80 to VolvoWorks in Vista, CA. My girlfriend told me you can't fix it send it to the mechanic. Whatever the outcome is I would post it here.

So I got a called from VolvoWorks in Vista, CA to let me know that my battery is good, alternator & starter are good. So now they're going to look in to the wiring. They also mention they got the car to crank. So what now? Anyone have any ideas or want to guess what could it be? Can it bethe shutthat causestheBULB FAILURE DIPPED BEAM message, by effecting something else down there?

Update- So I was told that a rat’s nest was found in my S80. I thought VolvoWorks was kidding; butnothey were serious. I've never heard of such thing. And that it's common for rats to get under the hood of cars especially if their parked out door Have you guys experienced this before?

Yeah I have the stock 16" in the front and the Pony R's in the rear 17"X8". But I want the 17"X10" in the rear. What do think if I paint my Ponies black? Have you heard of http://www.mavromont.com/?

Link didn't work. I think White might look better. Black might look to dark with the dark color of the car.
