Default Another Timing Belt Question

My wife has a 2002.5 S80 2.9 non-turbo. We purchased it new in October, 2002. It now has about 45,000 miles on it. When I was looking at the maintenance schedule, there is no reference to time as far as the timing belt change goes. It just says 105,000 miles. She only drives about 4,000 miles a year now so it would be another 15 years until she reaches that mileage. Should I go ahead an change it sooner?

I would get it inspected during your oil changes. It would be about 10 years by Volvo's standards. But I have seen to many cars not make it to 105K.

I reccomend 7 years or 70K
