Angry Bad Fuel?

So my car has been sitting for about 5 months. It only had a gallon or so of fuel in the tank. I replaced my coil packs(thats why it was just sitting) and fired it up. Ran great so I took it on the road and decided to get some more fuel. Gas station was about a mile or so from home. Car ran great the whole way there.

Now here is my problem. After I got some fuel and drove about three blocks the car started to idle rough and throwing codes.... p0154 p0171 p1171...also p0013 and p1132 but i know the cam reset valve is bad and setting those two, I plan on replacing it when I have the funds.

My question is: could I have just got some bad fuel or the fuel i had in tank was bad? Would bad fuel give me these symptoms and give me the 0171 1171 codes? I only added about 4 gallons when i fueled up.

Take a sample of fuel and see if it separates. I am not sure what the codes are right now though.

Follow up on this one.

After a week or two of messing with it. Driving it to and from here and there.....

Cleaned/gaped plug's......checked(plugged unplugged plugged o2 connectors)...one day she just ran better. Cant say what fixxed it. Only codes now are the ones for the stupid cam position thing.

Sorry for the delay in posting my findings

I was told that Shell gas ones one of the best for the car...If there is a different place, Please let me know????

I also never let my tank drop down. The most is the line middle line between half and empty.

With the 21.9 gallon tank I am able to drive about 400 miles on one tank (if I ran it out completely)

Does anyone by chance know what would be the best product to put in the tank to clean it?? Silly question but hey if you know me I always have to throw one in there.

Honestly, on highway running you can actually do about 550miles on a full tank.. 25mpg is not that unreasonable an estimate...
Concerning what brand to use, the car doesnt have apreference per se.. Just give it whatever is a good reputable brand, eg. Shell, Mobil, Texacno, BP (if you are cool with that), hess, sunoco etc....

What these cars does prefer though is some premium fuel over regular.. You can use regular with no problems, but i get slightly better MPG and a bit more power/acceleration on premium..

Concerning tank additives, same goes.. Any reputable brand.. Chevron /Texaco Techron is good, shell vpower, valvoline etc.... While i use these, I never really felt a before and after improvement.. I generally use good gas to begin with
