Default ??bad steering wheel module??

Hey all, Ive been scanning the posts as I always do for things that may be wrong with my 2000 s80. After doing some reading I think I have a bad steering wheel module. Currently have no use of cruise control or radio control from steering wheel. Blinkers stopped working, no high beams, wipers operate on one speed, and my service messages seem to be frozen on ABS service. The horn works, if that changes anything.

This all came about suddenly when making a 140 mile travel 2 weeks ago. Before this I had the ABS/STC message, and no cruise/radio control. During that trip I realized that the radio controllers all of a sudden started working. So i played around and found that cruise control and my messages were working as well. After a half an hour the message screen froze, I couldnt use my blinkers and all of the other stuff.....

I heard a few things:
1. Have the steering module reset (dealer or reg shop) cost ?
2. Software upgrade (assuming must be dealer) => cost ?
3. Buy a new module => cost ?
Also my left low beam went out at the same time. Should I try replacing the bulb or is this part of the whole steering wheel module thing? if that is indeed what I am dealing with.

Thanks in advance for what my options and estimated prices might be

Pull the fuse for it. The steering wheel module is burried behind the steering wheel.

I did change the bulb for the left low beam and it does work... it must have been a coincidence with everything else going on. I'll have a buddy locate the fuse and pull it. I'll let you know what happens.

And just in case what's the estimated cost for a new module???

Thanks
