ok it always did this... i posted about the ticking before, but when i start it, it ticks bad then it shuts up, but there is still that 1 tick tick tick tick tick tick..... no engine lights on, what could be wrong? yes the oil is full and new, do i need new lifters? a valve job?

 

Has the oil pan O-rings ever been replaced?

 

probly not... thats not somethin i can look at unless i rip 1/2 the engine apart.. i saw your write up, after it runs, it's only 1 lifter, tick tick tick tick, not real loud but it's there, sometimes it not there after u drive it for a while sometimes it come back after u drive it for a while.... no idea

 

Try to have the oil pressure checked to find out if it is low.
