Default ball joint HELP needed

I need help with replacing a ball joint on a S80. I am in the middle of the job and can not get the new ball joint reattached to the control arm. I got the everythiong talken apart and the new ball joint bolted into the hub.

When I try to swing the hub over the control arm - I can't get it lined up. What am I doing wrong? Is there something I need to do differently?

Any help would be appreciated.

Good luck the Balljoint is actually pressed into the Hub.
There is a special tool that slides over the balljoint then to hit it in with a Hammer.
You install the Balljoint in the the Hub the into the control arm.

Thanks, but I was able to get the new ball joint into the hub. What I can't get is the hub attached to the control arm. I doesn't want to swing back. Do I need to disconnect the strut or is there some other step that I am missing. Thanks

I always use a really big prybar.
If you want you can remove it from the Strut and install. Then reattach to the strut.

Got the Strut loose, but it doesnt want to move back in place. Could the axel or cv joint have slipped out? If it did - how do you get it back....

Thanks

Possible the Inner Joint did. It should slide back in with a little bit of force.
