Can anyone throw some light if diagnostics test can indicate problem with bent values? This way one need not think of replacing timing belt for a really used S80 T6 1999 make. What diagnostic test will reveal that there is problem with bent value. Thanks.

 

Compression tests for each cylinder

I had this happen on an old eclipse, cylinders with bent valves will show little to no compression depending on how extensive the damage is.
