Default Boost hoses

Hello everyone,

I have a 2003 s80 with 167,000 miles on it. Car needs a bit of work and I was hoping you experts could give me a few tips/advice.

Recently, the check engine light came on. Went to a car mechanic nearby and they performed a Coolant Temperature Sensor Test, Turbocharger and Cooling System Pressure Test.

Part of their receipt is the repairs and results of tests.

Turbocharger Boost Pressure:
Boost hoses are starting to leak, recommended tightening clamps and retesting. Will likely require replacement of boost hoses.
What the turbo hoses are that they're talking about? and what I need to do to clean/fix them?

Coolant Temperature Sensor:
Sensor requires replacement.

Cooling System Pressure Test:
Upper radiator hose needs replacement.

Additionally, I've recently had issues in starting the car. I'll turn the key and it will take about 4 or so seconds to turn over. What is the problem?

Thanks,

Vicious
