My sister is buying a 2001 S80, I was just curious what she's to expect if she buys this. It has 180k Miles, mostly freeway due a commute from Tucson, AZ to Phoenix, AZ. Hoping someone can help me out to keep her fairly informed about the vehicle.

 

Poking around here on the forums I found a bit of information saying that pretty much it's a wait and see if it's good with the transmissions for the early 2000's S80's. Aside from sensors and the like I couldn't find much more info in a quick search other than early debacles with the trans.... I'll keep poking around but so far I'm not sure what opinion to have. haha..

 

simply dont buy it. do research and you will see
