Anyone got the spec for Hi/Lo a/c pressure.
I looked up somewhere and they said only
45 degrees at the vent, which I get like 50.
I've got like 266? hi, 37 lo at like 90
ambiant. Hi seems too hi, i think my
ford truck is closer to 175 and that sucker blows like
ice.

266 on the high side is way to high. Is the cooling fan working normally?

Default Help! Need more AC info

Can anyone answer the OPs ? ?
Ans can anyone point me to any source of more s80 AC info? like overview of system or problem areas and symptoms, or a discussion forum collection etc?
I am a bmw DIY er but my wife and daughter have s80 and s40 01s that I have worked very little on but now need to for a year or so til we replace them, now that they are finally out of the extended warr I bought with them new. ( warr paid for an s80 timing belt failure at 82k, 3k before warrr out!!Yes it worked!) lol
Anyway first problem is intermitent 01 s80 AC cooling. Local guy supossedly checked pressures.
Anyone know of common issues??
thanks in advance

See if there is power to the compressor when it blows warm. If there is power the compressor needs to be reshimmed.
