I am putting my 2001 S80 T6 back together and can't remember if the third notch on the camshaft position sensor is up or down when the cam gears are in the alignment position (both up). Anyone know? What happens if I put it on backwards?

But it could be rotated 180 degrees off, no?

 

Nope. There is a notch in the cam where the third notch on the reluctor sits. If you put it on 180 out, it won't sit flat.
