I have a 2004 s80 and just this morning the car alarm started going off over and over for no reason. I have made sure everything is tightly shut. When you lock the vehicle you get the standard red flashing light on the console but after a few seconds it speeds up and the alarm goes off. The alarm goes off even car is unlocked!

Fortunately it has stopped for now... I'm grateful since I was about to strangle the next co-worker who came into my office to inform me of the car alarm. (not really, but it crossed my mind).

What are my options? I've read about a siren battery but don't know where the siren is on this year vehicle. Can the alarm be disabled completely until the issue is resolved?
