My 2000 S-80 has the 4 disc in dash CD. As of today the player won't engage and shows CD Error. There are 4 CD's in the unit right now. They won't eject. The rest of the unit works fine.

The only thing I know of to try would be disconnect the battery let it sit for a few and then reconnect and try again.

Or unless you want to pull the Radio and open it to get the CD'S out.

 

It could be a jammed cd!

That did the trick! I was able to retrieve all the CD's and now the changerer seems to be working fine!

I wonder if the laser reader was just dirty??

I have same problem....did you disconnect the battery and let sit or did u pull out radio and cds? You never mentioned what you did to resolve your problem. thanks

 

Well, I d/c battery and waited a few. Hooked it back up, turned on ACC and was excited to get 1 CD out. This wasn't even possible before. D/C'd battery cable again but no luck get other cd's or getting cd player to play. Gonna have to go in and pull out player, extract cd's, and put her back in hoping for a lil luck.
