check engine..

Default check engine..
What would cause a check engine light but give me NO messages and NO panel indication? would i have to get codes pulled to find out?

lol i took it to advanced auto and had em checked.. came back as vacume leake. turns out fiance fueled it up and didnt put the cap on all the way.. lol haha that was easy..
