Default Control arm bushings and inner tie rods

My mechanic has mentioned twice over the past 9 months I will soon need new lower control arm bushings and inner tie rods. Not urgent but keep it in mind. Actually he mentioned the two components independent of each other so maybe what he saw/felt was either or but not both. The control arm bushings only have about 30k on them and the Volvo dealer claims they are fine.

What symptoms should I look for to help me decide when to do this work? The car has 113k on it and is a 2002 T6. The tires, shocks and timing belt etc are new and it runs fine etc. Transmission seem solid (I ignore volvo and change the filter and fluid every 30 to 60 k). I assume this is a do it all at once when you are in there job. I am thinking just do new bushings, ball joints inner and outer tie rods if I plan to keep it for another 40k. Otherwise just drive till it is an issue?

Also what symptoms should I whatch for to see if the PCV service is needed? I skipped it at 105k as it looke dto be expensive or a pain an I have no symptoms (leaks, smoke etc) of an issue. It have run synthetic extcept when I treat it with auto RX.

Comments or advice is appreciated.

The bushings will move, test with pry bar. 30k ? im pretty sure they are ok.

PCV, its a very minute vacuum gauge we use on the dipstick tube, no vacuum equals a blockage. You may not be able to test it.
