Cruise Control Issue
I have a weird problem that just popped-up. Sometimes my cruise control won't come on, but if I stop the car and re-start it, the cruise control works just fine. I am not sure if it is has been doing this for a while, since it is obviously intermittent, but I just noticed it after having new rotors and pads put on.
Has anyone else ever had this happen or have any idea what might be causing it?
There are no warning lights on. Is there any way that the wheel sensors would affect the cruise control? This happened right after I had the brakes replaced and the wheel sensors on the front are the only things that I can think of that might possibly have anything to do do with the cruise control not working properly after having the brakes done.
Alot of things on these cars will disable the Cruise Control.
Try this to see if there is codes in the system. If it is a 1999 it may not work.
Push and hold your Read button on the end of the turn signal stalk. While holding it push and release the Rear fog light switch 2 times and the Display on Dash should say reading DTC's
It will only tell you if there is codes in a system and nothing else.
See if it says there is any codes in any modules.
