Daytime Running Lights/Auto Lights
Ok, so this has been bugging me, and I'm sure there is an easy answer to it, but I'm just not finding it.
I love to go to the drive-in in the summer, but as this is the first year with the Volvo going, how do you disable, temporarily the auto lights/daytime running lights. Turning the dial for the lights to 0 still keeps the lights on. Is this a software change that needs to be done? I don't want to disable my DRLs, but I also want to be able to actually have my lights off if I need to.
Thank you.

RE: Daytime Running Lights/Auto Lights
Not sure of the date and model changes, but the 98 S70 I had the light switch had a small slot at the light switch that you needed to turn with a screwdriver (instructions in the manual). The 2000 S40 I had the light switch, ignition, and high beam stalk needed to be in a certain sequence (instructions also in the manual). Now the 2002 V70 I have has no instructions in the manual whatsoever, guess what, software download for $ at dealer. My suggestion, unless someone lets you know otherwise, is to call the dealer. They will let you know.
