Hi, ok, kick me now! I bough on epay from several vendors, 1 FCP Groton, A++++++++ another, also in CT, not so good. I bought strut bearings and rubber mounts, installed, they lasted about 4 weeks, center ripped out, They were made in Germany. This time genuine Vovle, made in Spain, look slightly different in design. Lesson: Do not always try and save a few bucks IF the result is TWO strut removals, 1 in January! It was cold, Second lesson, beware of some epay seller parts quality.

 

you are correct, the lesson learned is you get what you pay for, and sometimes you dont even get that! case in point is a e-bay scammer called "mykeyless" he sells remotes out of kentucky, go to ebay and check out his listings for newer volvo remotes, and remember, the large print givith, and the small print takeith away!
