so my 2000 s80 has some bad voodoo in the locking system, but only on the driver side doors???
the driver door lock only works with my key, and the rear driver door lock only works by hand... not cool.
now the driver seat doesn't move, in any direction. aka stuck.
what do i do?

 

I worked the same problem for someone. I had to replace the rear door latch assembly. Very easy to do and not expensive if you get it from ebay or other aftermarket sources. The seat I am not sure of, hope this helps.

 

rear door latch makes since, how about the front door? how man i make that work with the remote?

 

The front may be bad also be bad, but just a guess there.
