I recently disconnected my battery for a short repair and when i reconnected it, several of my electrical components didn't work. The power locks dont work, and the sunroof is stuck open. Fuses are still good, howerver. Any ideas? I also got some "immobilizer" alert on the message display. I appreciate any help. Thanks!

 

Disconnect the battery and connect the 2 cables together and let sit for 5 minutes.
Then with the ingition on reconnect the battery.Then turn the ignition off and use the key to lock and unlock the door.Then use the remote to lock and unlock the car and you should be fine.

I had something similar and strange. My sunroof was stuck open and I finally ran it in to be checked. We found out that 1 of my car locks was out of sync with the others. For some reason because 1 was unlocked and the rest locked, it jammed the system for some reason. I felt stupid but that was the reason.

 

I have S80 T6 suddnely stall while i am driving force me to stop and restart. it happens every time i drive.
Volvo Dealer told me its ETM. any one know where is located and how to replace it?

 

The dealer will have to replace it.

It needs to be programmed to the car and only they can do it.

 

i got this same problem when i disconnected my battery. however, my key doesn't work in the drivers door, it works fine on the trunk, glove box and ignition but wont turn the door lock for some reason. my remote doesn't work now, and my power door locks dont work either. what can i do?! please help.. thx in advance.
