Default Emergency Help Needed!!! PCV Replacement trouble

Ok so I got the breather box replaced (myself), after connecting everything I realized there is a large electrical connection coming from the fan its black and has a bit of orange/red rubber on the connection. Don't know what it connects too.

The turbo return from the pcv system doesn't reach the sensor..

Any ideas? Had to leave it over night so now I gotta go tomorrow and try and figure it out. Tried to start it up, car ran but was puttering the whole time

7 hours by myself at the shop and had to stop.. back again tomorrow.

Please help!

Did you take any pics of the plug?
Are you taking about the hose that goes around the motor into the induction hose just before the turbo?

Default not sure

I will post a pic momentarily.
If the induction hose is the one after the coolant hose on the right side of the motor (as you look at it head on), then no I left that and didn't replace it. The tube and sensor that run off of the intake hose (plastic) that runs from the middle of the fan back (twin pipes).

The induction hose is the one from the mass flow to the turbo.

Yes the induction hose won't connect. It's a few inches short.

Try double checking the routing around the intake manifold.
Also is the hose from the vent box to the induction hose new? If so I had the issue with my 850. I changed a few other hoses to get it a little closer and also had to move the elbow a little to make it work.

Where exactly is the electrical plug you are talking about?

I'll try to manipulate the elbow up. I have it configured around some green and black looming as opposed to the inside of that looming but I don't want to take the UIM off again.

The wire is part of the fan somehow.. I'm sure of it. It comes from the same wiring set and looming that runs over the fan. (this connector is on the left side of the fan if you are facing it

Also. To the right of the oil in cap there is a black plastic piece I think its a sensor. It snapped off. I'll need to gorilla glue it back on temporarily until I can replace it.

EDIT: could that connector go to the MAP sensor??

Maybe there is 2 sensors in the pipe from the intercooler to the throttle body.

Not to hijack the thread, but where is the vent box located on a 99 V70 GLT?

Thanks
Dave

I found another post by Tech that said it was under the intake manifold.

you have any pics yet? There are two sensors on the intercooler pipe alright. One is a boost pressure and the other either a MAP or an atmospheric pressure, not 100% sure which.

Theres also a solenoid on screwed onto the right side of the rad for evaporative emissions.
