engine replacement problem

Default engine replacement problem
I just replace my engine because the old one was bad. But after i changed it, it runs great but after 5 minutes it shutsoff. Do I have to change something in the computers or something after i changed the engine?

You should not have to do anything. What are you missing when it shuts off?
Fuel,Spark,injector pulse?

im not sure what im missing but the mechanic says i should give it to the dealer so they can program it or something, unless you know what to do. He said the engine just turns off after 5 min.

The computers should not do that. The computers do not know the difference between motors.
