I have a 1999 s80 and I'm trying to figure out if I can swap my engine out for another. My motor completely stopped working for me so I'm wanting to replace the entire engine. My s80 has a 2.8L anyone know what other engines will work if I can't find another s80 to salvage from?

 

There's not a lot of other choices for S80s with the 6s. With that said the fast way to find the same engine is to use car-parts.com to search yards online. Assuming you have the B6284T (2.8 turbo), I counted 20 available here in New England (median price is about $500).
