Hi All - New here as I just purchased my first Volvo last week. I had a couple of questions I was hoping you could help me out with. The car is a '12 S80 T6 in great shape (other than the fact that the alternator went on the drive home from the dealer...). The car has 37,500 miles and has been meticulously maintained.

1. Does this car use a timing belt or chain? For some reason I couldn't find this info for the 07 or newer models of the S80.

2. It looks like there is some kind of clips to hold something on the glove box lid when it is open, is something supposed to go in there?

3. Are there any easy upgrades you immediately do to your cars that you like?

Hopefully none of this is too repetitive from previous threads.

Hi, and welcome to the forum! I have an S60, not the S80, so some of you questions I don't have answers for all you question. However, on the clips in the Glove box, those are to hold pens and Gas Credit Cards. From my owner manual on the Glove compartment:
"There are also holders for pens and fuel cards."
