FOB key

Hi,
My Volvo is 2012 S80 and I have a problem with both keys. Sudden reduction in the keys operating range, it used to be about 100 feet, now I have to be adjacent to the car for the key to function. key battery is OK.
Any idea?
Is there an antenna in the car that receives the signal from the key? would it be broken, disconnected or something?

Open the trunk. Lean in and look up at the roof of the trunk. There is a black antenna block attached by wires. It can be dislodged or disconnected when loading items in the trunk.
