Question Front Foglights

I have plugs where the Front Foglights mount. Also, right next to each of them it looks like the wiring harness has the foglight connectors that are plugged into a protective plastic box.

Looks like you can add OEM Foglights and connect them to the wiring harness, right there.

Where the Headlight Switch is on the dash..there is the normal combo switch with the Headlight Switch on the upper left...the Dash Dimmer Switch button right next to that.

On the bottom left of the combo switch it has another dummy plug and it looks like you could get the Front Foglights button and just replace the dummy one with the real thing or just get a Headlight Combo switch that has the FRONT Foglight button already installed..plug it in and you'd have OEM Foglights.

This car was setup this way when I bought it. I've heard a lot of manufacturers will have the connectors already installed on the wiring harness even tho the car doesn't come with that option to save the manufacturer of having to have several different kinds of harness's.

For those of you who have OEM Front Foglights..what doe the (wiring harness) connectors look like attached to the foglights.

These connectors that are attached to the harness look like 2 female to 2 male foglight connectors...is this right...?

Thanks for any Help..........

1. Mount the lights and use the connectors under the front bumper.

2. Next to the trunk & rear fog light switch there is a blank cap. Remove the small cap and install the cap that came with the kit.

3. Install the associated control module "fuse" if there is not one installed under the drivers feet compartment.

4. Go to the dealer and get the software upgrade.

5. Drive with your new fog lights.

Unfortunately the car will not recognize the fog lights unless you take it to somewhere that has the software to update the car.
