Default Front Strut Issues

Hi Everyone.

I have a 2001 S80 with a wierd issue. On sightly bumpy roads the center console from the odometer to the glove compartment has a wierd shake, on big bumps it is load also. Also when I brake I feel as the car is gowing in a back and foward motion and it would create a grinding noise.

I honestly this that it is not the Shock absorbers due to the fact that I did the test of rocking the car up and down and after I get off it stops oscilating inmediatly, But when I try to oscilating it back and foward I get a gring noise.

I though it might of been the control arm bushings, but I repalced them with OEM bushing that I think might not be good quality but it still has the same noise.

Please help with some recomedations that I should do to reapir this issue.

Regards,
JS

If I would have to change the engine mount, how much more or less would this be and what replacement part would I have to get.

thanks,

First check the upper torque mount. (Top of engine) Then check FCPgroton.com for prices.
