Hi, i need to fill fuel tank to my 2000 s80 t6, so i got out of the car, left the car unlock but the fuel tank filler cover wont unlock :-( i really need to fill up fuel soon ... Please help.

 

I don't know about S80's, but I know my 850 (both sedan and wagon) have a manual release in the trunk area. Have you looked in the owner's manual to see if there's something similar?

 

Haha i fixed it myself! Im so glad i dont have to go to mechanic just for this silly fuel tank cover. Opened the trunk and find the cable the is close to the fuel tank cover and find the cable for locking and unlocking the fuel tank cover. Just pulled it a bit and push it back again and then it works. Now It opens when i unlock the door and locks when i locked the doors.

 

Thanks Goldponcho, yes it was in the trunk and its fixed now. The manual doesnt show it. But i googled how othes fix theirs.
