Default Great Air filter problem

Hi everyone i got a new air filter yesterday at 85,000 miles in my 2002 S80, today at a gas station i popped the hood and wanted to see what it looked like. So i opened the air filter cap and i saw the two small tubes that connect to the air filter cap. as i opened the cap over the air filter i realized that one of the tubes had become disconnected from the other end, The onther tube was still connected to the engine though. I Could not see well so i quickly drove home and foubd where it connected. My question is, did it cause any damage driving less than 2 miles like that andas 17 year old first timer what upgrades should help my car?

You are fine driving it with the hose disconnected.
I know you reattached it but it was fine.

Those covers tend to fall out from time to time.
