Headlamp problem
Hi,
Just joined the forum.I have a 2005 S80 D5 and love her dearly.
Can anyone help with the zenon dipped headlamps??
A couple of weeks ago the drivers side lamp would intermittently go on and off when I hit a bump. Then that one stayed on and the passenger side would do the same. Now the drivers side is off all the time and the passenger side comes on and off as it pleases.When you turn off the ignition and then back on the cycle starts again.
We have taken the lamps out and checked the wiring but can find nothing untoward.
The service engineer said that it could be a software problem that is common to S80s and there may be a free update to be got from Volvo??
