I just got the heater fixed and now when you turn the car off the heat system will stay on for a few minutes? the mechanic says this particular car does this to keep moisture out of the inside to prevent mold. anybody heard of this?

 

The fan will activate and run for five minutes, 50 minutes after driving. If your fan stays on immediately after you turn the ignition off, something else is probably wrong.
