So i was cleaning my s80 earlier today listening to the radio and stupid me i let the battery die. Or so i thought, i dont know. I went to jumpstart the car and after sitting for about 15 minutes and all that happens is the starter clicks. I called the local volvo dealership and they werent much help without towing it in, and i dont want to waste the money on a tow if it just something stupid. so please help me solve this problem.

 

so i tried jump starting it again and still nothing. and the computer seems to be freaking out for some reason. when the key is turned the check engine light blinks rapidly and you can hear a clicking sound from within the dash. so someone please give me something.

 

Let the car sit with the jumper cables hooked up for a little bit to bring the voltage up on yours before you try starting.

You might just have to drop a new battery in there.
