Hello, I have a 2002 S80 T6 with a hesitation issue.
Engine light is on and codes say O2 or Cats.
Dealer checked sensors, Cats and exhaust emissions and says components are good and exhaust gasses are well within limits so they cant explain the error codes.
They reset the engine light and sent me on my way saying if it happens again bring it back. Light stayed off and car ran great for 2 days, now light is back on and car is hesitating again.

Any suggestions?

Now the engine light is flashing and the car feels like its going to stall!
perhaps a misfire?

 

took it back to Volvo, diagnosed misfire on cylinder 3. changed pack and plug. This has solved both problems.
