I have a 2.9L from -99 - I got the "emission light and my free dealer sad he had to change all 3 sensors - the light came back after 100 miles, and then it stroke me - how many sensors does my car have - 3 or 4? or is the problem, that my free dealer can't reset the computer(s) right - the engine feels fine, no problems - only the light and the message seems to be a problem.

Depends on alot of things.

Either they had 2 sensors only or they had 4 sensors.

 

My dealer chaged the 4 oxygene sensors, but the light is stil there.

When we erease the error , I can turn on the engine fopr 4-6 times an drive from 60-400 km without light, but suddenly it comes back. I have also tried the trick to remove the fuse for the engine control in a minut or two and the ligt dissapears, and it doncome back for the next two starts as I have read in this forum, but after 4-6 times after.

The car drives with no problems at all - what should be the next move - my time is running out because the new buyer pics the car up at saturday! - any ideas?

The code says somthing about the converter, but nothing seems to be wrong with it - we have tested it and the emissin is fine.

 

Is the exhaust clogged at all?

It is weird it comes back on that fast.

 

sorry - what does "clogged" mean :-)

 

Blocked. Meaning how much Air Flow do you feel out the back of the car at the Tail pipe?
