I am thinking about getting a 2006 Volvo S80 2.5T for my wife. I am curious, how much did you pay for an oil change at Volvo dealer?

The Dealers are expensive.
Most Indipendant shops are like $50.00 or so for an oil change.
The dealers are more.

 

I pay about $70 for a full sythetic oil change.

 

At our dealership it is only 34.95 + tax seems pretty cheap compared to alot of others.

 

mines around 37$ with tax "platinum oil change" i think they call it

 

Last oil change I did myself for roughly $17-18.

Mobil Clean 5000 @ 1.98/qt plus the FCP filter @ 5.

 

About $35 to $40? maybe $50? That's not bad. I have a BMW 330i, the dealer would charge me $150. It's a good thing that BMW offers me free maintenance for the first 4 years of BMW ownership (free oil change, brakes, etc).

My wife and I've been looking for a '06 S80 in Southern California. Boy, it's hard to find one that wasn't previously as a rental car. We only wanted a S80 from its original, individual owner who took good care of it. We'll keep looking for one...
