Hello,

I recently posted in this forum about how my airbags came out when I accidently hit someone in traffic at the speed of 5mph. I have spoken to a lot of people and they all said that the airbags should not pop out at such a low speed and they suggusted that I should file a compliant to Volvo Car Corporation. I am thinking that this could be some kind of a defect. I would like to know if anyone has ever had this kind of experience before.

 

what did you exactly hit?

 

I dunno about your car I've seen it only once a car without an accident (1999 S80 2.9) a lady just slam the door the side curtain and SIPS air bag pops out. The odd thing is that "NO SRS" light illuminated and no codes set in system either for air bag deployment.

 

I accidently hit the car in front of me at a speed of barly 5mph. I was eating something and I must have gotten distracted.

 

Did you get injured?

Then you have a lawsuit.
