Default Just don’t know

Ok so I have a 2008 s80 good vehicle
so was leaving work yesterday and had no power ,never had this issue in three years of ownership.
ok so opened hood exposed battery for a jump and wiggled the positive wire closest to the left fender heard a click and went to start and it started then was putting all back together and touched the same wire and it died .
now it was loose I thought if I tighten it up all will be good , nope .
so now when I touch the cable it makes an arch sound so I’m dumbfounded
as y’all know it’s not cheap to guess so if anyone has an idea please let me know
great thanks

Broken battery cable or potential wear spot on the cable causing a short.
