Default Leaking Transmission Fluid

I have a tranmission fluid leak, I think it is from where the transmission shaft exits the gearbox.

I tried to find out how much fluid is left but was told that the car must go upon the ramps to check this. Is this true? I would have that there would be a dipstick somewhere, although I cannot find it.

Any idea how much to replace the seal

I would recommend getting your car towed and inspected by a reputable mechanic or the dealership. You do not want to be driving your car with the possibility of shifting with low oil/fluid level for your transmission.

The transmission dipstick is Yellow and is located by the upper engine mount.
