i changed both the license plates lights on my 2006 model. It worked fine for 2 weeks or so. But then one of them went off so i thought maybe the bulb is out. So instead of buying new ones i swap with the one that was working. And it worked!!!..so when i put the bulb back in to the assembly it didnt work. So i dont know what is happening. If yall know the bulb is not a push/pull type thing. The bulb is supported by 2 prongs.
Anyways i also adjusted the prongs so it makes better contacts to the metal part. And it still didnt work ...I also changed the positions and tried on the other side and still didnt work. So now i am left with just one license plate light on which just looks cheap. Any ideas
