2009 S80....Just replaced the Halogen bulb for the 2 time in less than a year. Drivers side low beam is frequently burning out? I read a little and wondering if this is a fuse issue, bulb issue, ballast issue...? Any ideas??

 

brand of bulb? assuming you have standard H7 halogens not xenon HIDs I don't think you have a ballast. Also be careful not to touch the bulb part when installing - if oil (including from your fingers) gets on the bulb, it can heat up the bulb and shorten the life. Is the weather seal in good shape?

 

I have the same issue. I changed the low beam bulb probably 3 or 4 times so far in a little over 2 years. Honestly it did not bother me as changing the bulb is incredibly easy and a bulb every 6-9 months is not something that will break the bank.
