Are the K&N oilf ilters and air filters better?

 

Better than stock paper filters? Yes, by fat. I can feel a definite difference and hear the signature whistle of the K&N drop in filter I have in my S80. Compared to Green or other performance filters, I don't know. Oil filters don't do much for you because you change them with the oil anyway. The Air filter is non-disposable. You just clean it every 10k or so.

 

There are many postings on this forum re: air filters...............use the search feature. I would be very leery of installing a cotton air filter in a Volvo with a MAF and an ETM!
